VCHC is currently offering several community-based initiatives such as our monthly Community Wellness Clinics, Community Wellness Groups, Health Education programming and a Back to Basics Middle School Curriculum at a local school.
VCHC is working towards opening up several Co-operative Community Health Centers (CCHCs) in Victoria to provide publicly funded medical services (family doctors and nurses); health and wellness education programs; and allied integrative health services such as mental health counseling, physiotherapy, acupuncture, naturopathy, and nutrition counseling.
VCHC offers advantages over both public and private heath care as it provides publicly funded, community owned medical care in addition to offering complementary health services in a way that is more accessible and integrative.
VCHC is a collaboration of diverse community members from all over Victoria interested in having greater control and say in their health care through co-operation and member participation in our co-op. Are you interested in your health and that of your community? Please join us.
